Handmade & Natural
Please note that with handmade products & natural materials, the images may differ slightly to the product received due to their unique nature.
Displayed Sizes
Sizes are provided as a guide only & are approximately measured in length, width, height or diameter.
For example, dangling hook earrings will be measured from the top of the hook to the bottom tip, whereas most studs will be measured by the diameter of the stone.
Sterling Silver
All of our jewellery is set in classic .925 Sterling Silver unless otherwise detailed.
Sterling Silver will tarnish & oxidise over time due to a chemical reaction with the air unless you keep it wrapped or enclosed in a bag or box. However a quick polish using a non-abrasive cloth will have your jewellery sparkling again.
Amber
All Amber sold by Szubina is handmade in Poland from Genuine Polish Baltic Amber which is a beautiful & 100% natural gemstone. Formed over millions of years, each piece is unique & one of a kind fossilised tree resin that ranges from light milky yellow in colour to a deep orange-red. Some Amber is even treated with heat to bring out an exotic rich green colour.
Amber is also believed to have healing qualities that aid in balancing emotions & clearing the mind of negative energies & fears. Some also believe that Amber brings good luck to the wearer & can be of great benefit to the health of infants & children.
Turquoise
Stunning & vibrant in colour, Turquoise is a relatively soft & porous stone mined in many locations throughout the world. We sell natural Turquoise that is sometimes stabilised with small amounts of resin for polishing strength. We also sell composite Turquoise which contains smaller pieces of ground up Turquoise mixed with large quantities of synthetic resin to form blocks which are brighter in colour, stronger & easier to polish & cut to size.
Many ancient civilisations believed Turquoise to have great mental & physical healing powers, even the ability to create a connection between Heaven & Earth.
Jewellery Care
To keep gemstones looking beautiful it’s best to take them off when swimming, showering or exercising. Avoid any contact with make-up, perfume & body lotions & clean in warm water & dry immediately with a soft cloth. Never use commercial jewellery cleaners & store in a soft material bag.

Leather
All leather sold on this site is genuine leather unless labeled as such. We also sell PU leather which is made from 80% PU (split leather laminated with a polyurethane coating) & 20% Polyester.

They are emailed to your nominated email address in digital format on purchase & are non-refundable.

All items are displayed with tax already included in the price.
Payment Options
We accept payment via Visa (credit & debit cards), MasterCard (credit & debit cards) & American Express.
Orders & Deliveries
Orders are packed for delivery & sent within 24 hours on receipt of payment.
Deliveries are trackable through Australia Post or Sendle via a tracking number that will be emailed to you. Delivery times for Australia are 2-5 week days & for the rest of the world, 6-10 week days.
Shipping
We offer free shipping for all orders delivered within Australia totalling $10 or more. All International shipping rates will be calculated at the check out.
Sold Out Items
If you can’t find a particular item or you’re interested in purchasing an item that is labelled “sold out”, please contact us & we’ll do our best to accommodate you asap.

Subscribers are added to our occasional mailing list & can simply unsubscribe easily & at any time.
Returns Policy
Absolute care is taken with our all of our products & each item is quality checked & documented to ensure that it is in perfect condition prior to shipping. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check sizes & suitability prior to purchase as we do not offer returns. Purchases over 30 days old, sale items & earrings (hygiene reasons) will not be exchanged for any reason. We may offer exchanges or store credit in the following senarios:
- If an item is damaged on delivery & you contact us within 14 days of purchase or if an item is faulty & you contact us within 30 days of purchase.
- If an item is unsuitable (wrong size or style etc) & you contact us within 30 days of purchase. The item however, must be returned in perfect condition within 60 days of purchase & shipping charges will be at the buyer’s expense.
Quarantine Laws
Products that contain natural elements such as timber, shells or feathers may be restricted from being sent to certain countries due to bio security & quarantine regulations. Please check your local laws before purchasing these types of products.
Age Restrictions
Please note that none of the products sold by Szubina are suitable for babies or young children as they may contain small parts that could become a choking hazard.
